Elaine M. Pleasant, 66, of Henrico, died October 25, 2023. She was preceded in death by her son, Darnell L. Pleasant. Surviving are her husband, Louis M. Pleasant; two sons, DeRon N. Meekins, Sr. (Melita E.) and Louis M. Pleasant, Jr. (Andrea T.); 8 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren; two brothers, James Jr. and Ricky Meekins Sr. (Lecia); nieces and nephews devoted, Shironda Winston; other relatives and friends. Remains rest at Scott's Funeral Home, 115 E. Brookland Park Blvd., where viewing will be held Thursday, November 2 from 10 a.m. until 7 p.m. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Friday, November 3 at Scott's Chapel, 116 E. Brookland Park Blvd. Rev.
