Terry and Sonia, you know how much we loved your precious and beautiful Mother. We will forever cherish the many memories we shared together, along with Mom. She loved making her special leg of lamb, seasoned to perfection with so many other dishes. Our hearts are heavy and our eyes are filled with tears. We will miss her but know we love you and will be praying God's continued care to sustain you. We love you. Starlin and Pamela Beatty, Durham, North Carolina.

To the family of Mrs. Sybil Frances McDaniel Moore. I would like to express my deepest condolences to you all during this time. As a young child I came to know and love Mrs. Sybil. She was a dear friend of my Grandparents, the Late James & Addie Fields. She was also a 1952 Graduate of JT Barber (then High School) along with my grandfather. When my grandparents relocated from New York to New Bern, Ms Sybil was there every step of the way! She became my grandmother's best friend and spent her days shopping and hanging out with her. During my holiday visits and summer stays, Mrs. Sybil would cook for us sometimes. OH WHAT AN AWESOME COOK SHE WAS! I will never forget one Sunday, some years ago, while in church, she found out it was my birthday and asked me what I wanted. My only request was her FAMOUS German Chocolate Cake. Til this day, I have never tasted any other cake like hers. Thank you for being so supportive! Take your well deserved rest! Min. Jarod B. Morris Wyandanch, NY

If only I knew what to say to comfort you! But words cannot say what is in my heart, nor tell you how deeply I feel for you both in your sorrow. I loved your mother, too and I'll never get over missing her. I share your grief, but how I wish sharing it could lighten the burden for you! I send you all my love and all my sympathy. I met my Cousin Sybil via telephone during the transitioning of My Daddy, Kenneth Earl Chadwick. Although I'd met her when I was a small child, after reuniting with her on those phone calls, was as if I'd known her all my life. After my Daddy's passing I went to visit Sybil and the physical reunion we shared was Miracleous, I quickly formed a bond of love with her that leaves me with a bitter-sweet mindset. I'll miss our phone conversations but I'm so happy that she ran her race, performed God's plans/purpose for her life and now she can take her rest. Sincere Heartfelt Condolences to her immediate & extended family & friends Rest Well Cousin Sybil until we meet again π β€ Affectionately written by Cheryl Chadwick (DC/MD).

Terry and Sonia, so sorry to hear of the passing of your mom. I worked with her many years ago at Howell's in River Bend. She mentioned you two quite a bit and she was so proud of you both. I would run into her sometimes at the post office and she still remembered me. Condolences to you both and your family. Denise Joyner
