Obituary For Deacon Willie Lee Deas Jr.

Willie Lee Deas, Jr., an 87-year-old retired educator from Leon County Schools, peacefully passed away at home. Public viewing will be Friday, October 20, 2023, from 4 PM to 6 PM. The Celebration of Life will be 10 AM, Saturday, October 21, 2023 at Tabernacle Missionary Baptist Church with burial at Southside Cemetery.

Willie Deas was a lifelong resident of Tallahassee and a devoted Deacon of Tabernacle Missionary Baptist Church.

He is survived by two sons, Kenneth Deas and Daino D.C. Deas; three daughters, Amelia Deas Wilson, Monika Martin (Jeff), and Shaunte’ Deas-Banks; 16 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren
