Obituary For Mrs. Rosalind Nims

Rosalind Nims, 73, passed away Sunday, October 15, 2023. Memorial services will be 11 AM, Friday, October 20, 2023 at Bethel A.M.E. Church. The Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Ivy Beyond the Wall service will be held Friday, October 20, 2023 at 10 AM at Bethel A.M.E. Church.

Survivors include one son, Albert Nims III; three brothers, Charles McCoy, Michael McCoy (Pamela) and Eric Mc Coy; one sister, Sheryl Jamison (Alphonso); three grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

My deepest sympathy is extended to you, Al, and the family in the loss of your beloved mother who loved you with every fiber of her being! She was an outstanding teacher and I was privileged to have been able to be her student at Leon High School. I learned so much more than English under her direction. She loved teaching and her students. I will miss her and I thank God for the joy she brought into the lives of so many people. God bless you and keep you- even now and forever.
