On behalf of the Hillside High School alumni choir, I extend to the family of Ike Brother and choir member, my most profound sympathy, and condolences to the family. As the choir Director, I can tell you that Brother Council was a joyful and kind hearted member of the choir.. His gentle nature was noted by Hall who sang with us. We missed him when he was no longer able to attend. We never forgot him, and we never will. Mary Scott

Gene was a quiet, humble and tall in statute man. He was a part of the Hillside Alumni Choir, and attended rehearsals and engagements when possible. He loved what he did for the Lord, and will be greatly missed. The Hannah and Murphy families.
