THE HOME GOING CELEBRATION HONORING THE LIFE & LEGACY of Mr. Douglas E. Jones of Aliceville, Alabama was Friday, October 13, 2023, 1:00 p.m. in Aliceville City Hall, 419 Memorial Parkway East in Aliceville. The body of Mr. Jones was in state in City Hall one hour prior to the service

INTERMENT was in Old Bethany Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery, 4425 Vienna River Road Aliceville, Alabama. Reverend Patrick Bonner, Pastor of Christ For Life Ministry in Aliceville, Alabama was The Eulogist.

I am so sorry to hear of the death of Douglas; death is such an ugly enemy that robs us of times with our loved ones. I would like to comfort the family with a scripture found at Acts 24:15, which reads: "There is going to be a resurrection of both the righteous and the unrighteous". What is this scripture saying? One day soon, all of our loved ones who have died will rise from the grave and be resurrected, no matter if they practiced good or bad. Yes, you will see Douglas again!
