Obituary For Mrs. Mary Moore Goosby

Mrs. Mary Moore Goosby, age 83, of Rome transitioned October 4, 2023. The Celebration of Life for Mrs. Goosby will be Thursday, October 12, 2023 at 1 pm at Holsey Sinai CME Church. Mrs. Goosby will lie in state at the church from 12 noon until the funeral hour. Interment will follow the Celebration at Eastview Cemetery (Rome).

To my Step mom...Mary I know in the past we had our differences but I will never forget after you and daddy only being married a couple of months you moved me in with yall at 8 years old. I also remember that last conversation on the phone that I had with you on the phone not too long ago and we laughing and talking about daddy cooking and how he had learned...also the times that I would sneak and talk to you to get daddy's size in clothes so I could buy daddy a gift and how you would never tell him what I had planned....I have my own memories of you and regardless what others may think...we did make peace with each other so I thank God, I don't have to have any regrets!!!
