Funeral service will be 1:00 p.m. EST Tuesday, October 10, 2023 in the C.T. Chapel of Taylor Funeral Home with Bro. Jimmy Buford, officiating. Burial to follow in St. Peter A.M.E. Church old cemetery in Seale, AL. Visitation is Tuesday, October 10, 2023 from 12-1 p.m. EST
Steven Coleman was born on November 5, 1967, to the late Willie Coleman and Liza Coleman. He departed his life on September 29, 2023, at his home in Phenix City, AL
He's preceded in death by his sister, Ethel Coleman.
He was a former employee at the Parks and Recreation Center in Phenix City, AL. Everyone that knew Steve knew he loved to fix and repair vehicles. That was one of his passions.
He leaves to cherish his memories, his devoted wife of 20 years, Brenda Parkerson of Smiths, AL; mother, Liza Coleman of Phenix City, AL; eight children; Brenda Williams of Kuwait, Darius Parkerson, Julia Lockett and Aaliyah Harden all of Phenix City, AL; William Williams, Ieshia Lockett, Brittany Lockett (Jeremy) Johnson and Daja Fuller all of Columbus, GA; three sisters, Willie Mae (Curtis) Williams, Edna Williams and Stephanie Jackson all of Phenix City, AL; one brother-in-law, Eddie Williams of Columbus, GA; two devoted cousins Carisa Green and Sabrina Green both of Phenix City, AL; one uncle, Shephard (Emma) Coleman, Phenix City, AL; four aunts, Shirley Coleman, Deborah Coleman, Erma Coleman all of Columbus, GA and Barbara Howard of Phenix City, AL; eight grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Steve, I will definitely miss you. You've been a great part of my life. I will cherish the memories that we've shared. Rest well my friend. Love you for all eternity.
