Obituary For Hubert W. Guidry, Sr.

OPELOUSAS – A Celebration of Life will be held from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 30, 2023 at Ford and Joseph Funeral Home in Opelousas, LA for Mr. Hubert Wayne Guidry, Sr., 72, affectionately known by his family and friends as “Chain Man”, who entered eternal rest on Monday, September 25, 2023 at his residence in Church Point, LA.

Mr. Guidry’s memories are being cherished by: his two sons, Hubert Wayne (Carol) Guidry, Jr. of Eunice, LA and Frank C. (Shakemia) Guidry of Church Point, LA; seven grandchildren; five great grandchildren; his special caregiver, Priscilla Handy of Church Point, LA; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

He is preceded in death by: his parents, Frank and Cecilia Guidry; his daughter, Enolia Marie Papillion; and his great grandson, Zaydon M. Touchet.
