James Tyler White

Passed 09/18/2023

James Tyler White, age 30, of Greensboro, North Carolina, departed this earthly dwelling and took his rest with the Lord on September 18, 2023. He was born in Greensboro, North Carolina, to James White and Regena W. Brown .

Tyler attended the Guilford County Schools before moving with his family to Tampa, Fl., where he continued his education. Tyler loved people and lived his life offering acts of service and lovingkindness toward others. He never met a stranger, and within hours of meeting new neighbors, he would introduce them to his parents with a smile and say, “these are my friends.” He possessed a larger-than-life magnetic personality. His maternal grandmother affectionately named him “Smiley,” a name well deserved.

Tyler was raised in the United Methodist Church. However, he recently became a member of Kingdom Minded Citizens Worship Center. Tyler’s love for life was centered around his love for God, family, and friends. He had a passion for animals and nature, but his hobbies included sports, motorcycles, and electronics.

Tyler is survived by his parents, James White of Florida and Regena W. Brown (Maurice) of South Carolina; his son, Cameron James White of Florida; one brother, Micah Alan White of Texas; maternal grandparents, Johnnie, and Grace Boyd, both preceded him in death; his paternal grandmother, Mary L.
