Mrs. Melrose Brown Palmer was born June 23, 1950 in Burke County to the parentage of the now late Willie Brown, Jr and Annie Maude Jones Brown.
She made her transition from labor to reward on Saturday, September 23rd at an Augusta Hospital.
Homegoing Celebration will be held Saturday, September 30th, 2023 at 11:00 A.M. at Bark Camp Baptist Church.
Interment will be held in Bark Camp Baptist Church Cemetery.
Public viewing will be held Friday, September 29, 2023 at Davis Funeral Home, 725 Beech Street, Louisville, GA from 3:00 - 6:00 P.M.
Mrs. Palmer was a life long resident of Burke County. Early in life she united with the Bark Camp Baptist Church Family where she remained until her demise. Bossing her family and adding pounds on them with her delicious dishes was what she did 👌🏽 best.
She truly loved to cook and did it morning, noon and evening She was employed for over 40 years as a dietician at Pansys and later Jefferson County in the Cafeteria.
Her presence will be missed in the lives of her loving husband of forty-four years: Phillip A. Palmer, Waynesboro, GA; three sons: Rickey (Luretta) Palmer, Keysville, GA; Dwayne (Tanitra) Brown and Corneliaus (Brittany Magwood) Brown, Jacksonville, FL; her brothers: Willie (Frances) Brown, III, Midville, GA, Charles (Delores) Brown, Waynesboro, GA and Willie Bynes, Louisville, GA; sisters: Annie Willie Reynolds, Macon GA, Johnnie Mae Williams, Atlanta, GA, Lillian Wirt, Rosa Lee Brown, Mary Curry, Warner Robins, GA, Mozell Brown and Deborah Brown, Perry, GA, Victoria (Brandon) Jones, Waynesboro, GA; her sisters-in-law: Louise Avery, Wrens, GA, Eva Jean (Joe) Boyd, Stone Mountain, GA and Annie Sapp, Waynesboro, GA; sixteen grandchildren, one great grandchild, several nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.
