Celebration of Life Services will be held on Saturday, September 23, 2023, 11:00 A.M. in Elizabeth's Chapel of Alfonso Dawson Mortuary. A Public Viewing will be held on the Friday, the 22nd at Alfonso Dawson Mortuary between the hours of 1:00 PM and 6:00 PM. Internment, Resthaven Gardens of Memory.

Fortuitously, I ran upon the info about Cora Presley this week. The eyes reminded me of Cora Presley as my 10th grade biology student at Price High School. When she left after being recruited to attend a private school in the North, I often wondered what happened to her. I frequently thought about her, and I never thought to look online. I hastily looked at portions of the memorial service days later, and based on the comments, I knew that I had found Cora Presley--Dr. Cora Presley. I can now find out about her witness and service. I wish that I had known sooner. I could have attended the memorial service. Blessings for a life well living as she helped other students to excel and to gain a broader global experience.
