Mr. Frederick Dawson of Cottondale, Florida transitioned from life temporal to life eternal on September 21, 2023 at his residence.
Homegoing Celebration of Life services will be held on Saturday, September 30, 2023 at 1:00 PM from the sanctuary of the Springfield African Methodist Episcopal Church located at 4194 Union Road in Marianna, Florida 32446 with Pastor Hollis McClendon officiating.
Interment will be in the church cemetery.
Mr. Dawson will lie in repose at the church from 12:00 Noon until time for the service.
A public viewing will be on Friday, September 29, 2023 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Vann Funeral Home.
He leaves to cherish a lifetime of fond, yet precious memories, a loving and devoted family:

Five Sisters: Patricia McCalister and Jackie (Orise) Kendall both of Marianna, Florida; Nacole Thomas of Malone, Florida; LaSandra (Brady) Snell of Tallahassee, Florida; and Wanda Lee of Blountstown, Florida
Mother-in-Law: Louise Spates of Marianna, Florida
Three Sisters-in-Law: Debra Long and Doris Speights both of Greenwood, Florida; and Dorothy (Michael) McClendon of Graceville, Florida
One Brother-in-Law: Antonia (Tramaine) Speights of Marianna, Florida
Eleven grandchildren, One great grandchild
And a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and many dear friends.
