Basir Demonte' Humphrey,28, of New Bern passed Tuesday, September 19, 2023.

His service is 2:30 PM, Tuesday, September 26, 2023 at St. James AME Zion Church 500 Rocky Run Rd., New Bern. The interment will follow at New Bern Memorial Cemetery.

He is survived by his mother, Sharki Humphrey of New Bern; father, Basir Mohammad, Troy, NY; one brother, Nasir Whitfield of Charlotte, NC; five sisters, Syeedah Humphrey and Rasheedah Humphrey both of Greensboro, Jamya Humphrey, New Bern, Demika Kittles and Tamisha Kittles both of Brooklyn, NY; maternal grandmother, Debra Humphrey and paternal grandmother, Doris Felder both of New Bern.
