Colleen Carla Crooms, was born on October 15, 1961, in St. Augustine, Florida to the late Mary Crooms and Stephen Crooms, Sr. Collen attended school at New Iberia Senior High. While attending school she enjoyed the ROTC and made Captain. She later worked at Flagler Hospital and became a CNA. Being a CNA was her life, she thoughly enjoyed taking care of the elderly.
Colleen leaves to cherish her memories: sons, Araichio Crooms, Aaron Crooms, daughter, Alicia Crooms, brothers, Stephen Crooms (Angelia), Jody Crooms (Elaine), Robert Crooms (Sheila), James Crooms (Maria), Herman Curley (Donna), grandchildren, Jameshia Givens, James Givens Jr., Jayda Givens, Airah Crooms and Araichio Crooms Jr., devoted friends and family, Abatina Bailey, Zet, and Marvin Williams

The Crooms family will receive friends and the community 6-7 p.m., Friday, September, 22 at New Mt. Moriah Christian Ministry. A Celebration o Life will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, September 23, at St. Paul AME Church. Interment will be held in Evergreen Cemetery.
