On Wednesday, September 6, 2023, our beloved Michael Anthony Foster of Una, SC went to live in his heavenly home.
He was a graduate of Dorman High School and "Big Mike" had a career in the health field. He worked as a rehab tech at Spartanburg Regional for many years, then later at Spartanburg Rehabilitation Institute. Through sickness Mike fought the good fight of faith trusting that God knew what was best along the way. He was preceded in death by his father, Thomas Foster Sr., mother Tabatha Bobo Foster, and brothers Thomas "Jun" Foster Jr., and William "Billy" Foster. Those left to cherish his memories are his sister Gloria Foster, niece Sonya Lattimore, a great niece and nephew, a host of cousins, and friends.
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, September 16, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. at The John Stinson Woodward Memorial Chapel.

Mike and I worked at SRI. We always talked about death and doing Gods will. He reminded me so much of my baby brother. He loved God and his family. I will truly miss him. Until we meet again my brother! Yvonne Rice

Big Mike was a good man, he was always a pleasure to work with, always smiling, and was so funny. We often shared our thoughts on Biblical things and opinions on the latest conspiracy theories. He genuinely cared for his patients and co workers. I did not know he was ill, I have been retired since 2018 and have been out of the loop, so hearing of his passing came as a shock. This world surely could use more men like Mike. So, now he is face to face with Jesus, in a place prepared for those who believe in the gospel of Christ, and anyone that knew Mike understood that he had a deep faith. "But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him."
