Obituary For Johnny Morris

Mr. Johnny Phillip Morris, 48 departed this life on Sunday, September 3, 2023 in Shelby, NC. He was born on December 22, 1974 in Cleveland County, NC to Jeanette Rice Morris and Joe Lewis Morris.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, September 12, 2023 at 2:00 PM at Ellis Chapel Baptist Church. Burial will take place at the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM on Tuesday and at other times at 517 E. Warren St. Apt. D. Shelby.

Hello to the Morris family. To you who still draw breathe; Johnny is ok! He awaits us now. I hope he had the love of Yahawah in him and therefore a hope of a resurrection. I know Johnny was an amazing person I just wish I had gotten to know him more and had more time with him. A beautiful person inside and out. Take that soul and smile and fly high Johnny. Words can't express how much we miss Johnny! This was a hurtful day of our life miss him coming up to me about my shoes. We always had a war on who had the fresh shoes and looked fly. But really at end of day he was a well respected man and would do anything for anyone. We love you and may god bless your family and protect them in time of need.
