Mrs. Lena Mae Bomar, 72, of Walterboro, SC, crossed the threshold of time into eternity on Sunday evening, September 3, 2023 in the Colleton Medical Center. Lena rests now in God's care. She was the widow of Marvin Bomar and the daughter of the late Lena Brown. Lena grew up in the Roadside/Jonesville Community and was a member of the Mt. Nebo Baptist Church, Yemassee, SC. Lena attended the local schools. For numerous years, she was employed with the Dairyland of Walterboro, SC. Kind-hearted and loving, she was affectionately known to her family and friends as “Sissy.” Her smile was endearing, and she shall be remembered as a precious jewel by her children, grandchildren, siblings, and her entire family.

Visitation: Friday, September 8, 2023, 5-7 pm in the Chapel of Young Funeral Home.

Funeral Service: Saturday, September 9, 2023, 11:00am in the Mt. Nebo Baptist Church, 22 Jonesville Avenue, Yemassee, SC. Burial will follow in the Church Cemetery.
