Robert Lee Hall was born December 22, 1950 to the late Wyman and Burlina Hall. He was the fifth of eleven children born to that union. He was known as “Bay” to most but “GetDaddy” to the grandchildren.
He was called from labor to reward on Sunday, September 3, after a brief illness.
In addition to his parents “Bay” was preceded in death by his siblings: Eugene, Michael, Donald, and Carolyn.
Robert was educated in the Greene County School System and early in life he gave his life to Christ and united with the Moore’s Chapel Baptist Church in Greensboro, Ga. Robert worked at Chipman Union until it closed and presently worked for the City of Greensboro. He loved watching westerns on television, “trying to sing” and keeping the yard looking great. He was joined in Holy matrimony to Glenda on July 1, 1989 and they enjoyed 34 years together.
Left to cherish his memory are his loving and devoted wife Glenda Hall; his children: Troy Hall Sr. (Paula), Christopher Hall, Dietra Samonia Hall, Travis Monfort (Elaine), Reginald Smith and Natasha King; grandchildren Troy, Jr., Keyerra, Alicia, Alexis, Jakhi, Kiomi and Jurne; his siblings: Wyman Hall, Al Hall, Fred Hall, Zap Hall, Bonnie Terrell and Mary Wyatt; in-laws: Gaynell Jones, Deborah Miller (Robert) and Frances Clark (Charles); a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
