Obituary For Malachi Mays

A Celebration of Life Service for Malachi Mays will be on Saturday, September 2, 2023, 11:00 AM at Destiny World Church, 7400 Factory Shoals Rd., Austell, GA 30168. A Public Viewing will be held one hour before the Service from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM.

Malachi Mays affectionately called Mali was called home to be with his Heavenly Father on August 27, 2023; he was born on August 24, 2007, in Kansas City Kansas to Crystal Mays and Marlon Hayes Jr.

Malachi was a student in the Dekalb Public School System and he loved his family, football and had the most beautiful and infectious smile. He was deeply loved by all and his presence will be missed dearly.

Malachi accepted Christ at an early age and was a member of First Baptist Church of Quindaro, in Kansas City, KS.

Malachi leaves to cherish his memory. His loving parents Crystal and Marlon Hayes Jr, grandmother Rebecca Hayes; three sisters RaKeisha and Don'Niesha Bennett and Kiara Williams; 5 brothers LaDon Bennett, Marlon Hayes III, Darcell Mays, Mason Hayes, and Mar'Zae Hayes; 13 aunt, 10 uncles and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Malachi is preceded in death by his grandparents Dorsie Mae Mays, Marlon Hayes Sr, Yolanda Mozingo and Otha Alexander.
