Obituary For Ms. Ever Lou Fogle

Funeral services for Ms. Ever Lou Fogle, 79, of Orangeburg, SC will be held 11:00am, Saturday, September 2, 2023, at Mt. Zion Baptist Church, 707 Arista Road, Bowman, with interment to follow in the church cemetery.

Ms. Fogle will be placed in the church one hour prior to the service.

Ever Lou Fogle was born September 2, 1943 to the late Willie Baxter and Mary Fogle Baxter in Orangeburg, SC. She departed this earthly home on August 23, 2023.

Ever Lou was educated in the public schools of Orangeburg County. She attended Wilkinson High School. Ever Lou was employed by Sunbeam Bakery as a supervisor, until her retirement.

Ever Lou accepted Christ and became a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church, under the leadership of Pastor Arthur W. Goforth, III. Ever Lou was the matriarch of the Fogle family and enjoyed baking and cooking for various family gatherings. She was a “quiet storm” full of wisdom. She was bold, courageous and fearless but loved her family.

Ever Lou was preceded in death by her husband, Leonard Williams; parents, her only daughter, Valerie Williams Miller; and her grandmother who raised her, Frances Cannon Fogle.

Ever Lou is survived by five grandchildren: Jasemine King, Brandon Henry, Jade Henry, Bryson Henry and Diamond Henry; eight great-grandchildren: Jaida Felder-Whetstone, Janiyah Felder, Jordyn King, Jewelz King, Nubia Griffith, Nia Griffith, Yahlaigh Henry and Nasiir Griffith; one sister, Eva Dean Bowman; niece, Vilencia Bowman; nephew, Antonio Bowman; two god-daughters: Susie Pritchett and Betty Fogle-Bovian; devoted caretaker and niece, Tammie Jones-Argrow; best friend, Dr. Vivian Hodges; and a host of other loving relatives and dear friends.

Visitation will be held Friday, September 1, 2023, from 1:00pm - 6:00pm.
