Obituary For Arthur Lee Taylor

TYLER-- Funeral services for Mr. Arthur Taylor, 61, is schedule for Saturday, August 19, 2023 at 11 am in the Sanctuary of People Baptist Church with Pastor Marcus L Jackson, eulogist. Burial will follow in New Hope Cemetery in Bullard, Texas under direction of John R Harmon Undertaking Company.

Mr. Taylor was born on June 26, 1962 in Smith County to the late Robert Sr. and Eddie Doll Bowie Taylor. He transitioned on August 12, 2023.

Mr. Taylor was a graduate of Robert E. Lee High School and attended Spirit of Life Baptist Church. He served in the United States Marines.

Mr. Taylor was preceded in death by brothers: Robert Taylor Jr. and Peter Taylor; sisters: Gwendolyn Taylor and Jacqueline Taylor. He is survival by spouse: Ramona McKenzie-Taylor of Tyler; sons: Arsha (Rokesha) Taylor, Raquis McKenzie daughters: LaTavious Taylor and Shomari Taylor all of Tyler, Taleshia Taylor of Dallas, Sherri McKenzie and Tiffany McKenzie all of Tyler; brothers: Elvin (Anita) Taylor of Lindale; a host of grand and great grandchildren, other relatives and friends.

Public viewing will be Friday, August 18, 2023, from 2 pm to 8 pm at the funeral home.
