Kiersten Alexis Miller, daughter of Mr. Byron Carrington and the late Mrs. Tiffany Koen Harris, was born September 7, 1985 in Silver Springs, Maryland.

At an early age, she confessed Christ and united with Mt. Hebron Church of Ministries. After moving to Auburn, Alabama, she united with Church of the Highlands where she was currently a small group leader.

Kiersten was a 2003 graduate of John L. LeFlore High School in Mobile, Alabama. Upon graduating, she attended Auburn University and received a Bachelor of Science degree in Biomedical Science in 2007. In 2008, she received her master’s degree in biomedical science from Auburn University, and later received a Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Alabama State University in 2012. Kiersten knew she wanted to return to "The Loveliest Village on the Plains" and make Auburn her permanent home where she attended Auburn University for her bachelor's and master's degrees.

She began practicing inpatient rehabilitation where she embraced multi-site management in the skilled nursing facility setting. Following the birth of her son, Kiersten gained an interest in pelvic floor when she had success overcoming lower back and hip pain after receiving treatment for her own pelvic floor dysfunction. Kiersten has obtained her Herman and Wallace Pelvic Floor Certification along with other advanced training to serve the pregnancy, postpartum and women's health athletic population. In the past, she has served on committees and councils for PT and PTA programs at Alabama State University, Southern Union State Community College, and Lurleen B. Wallace Community College. She was proud to currently serve on Auburn University's Young Alumni Council.

In her free time, she enjoyed attending Auburn football and gymnastics events and spending time traveling with her husband, Greg whom she married in 2017, and son, Konnor. Kiersten was a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated.
