Obituary For Eugene "Ali" Levett

Funeral services for Eugene Levett, 55, of Montgomery, AL, will be at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, August 15, 2023, at Harris Funeral Home Chapel with interment in Garden Hills Cemetery, 1218 Frederick Road, Opelika, AL 36801, Reverend Steven Copeland will officiate.

Mr. Levett, who passed away Sunday, August 6, 2023, at the East Alabama Medical Center in Opelika, Alabama, was born February 13, 1968, in Waterbury, Connecticut.

Public viewing will be Monday, August 14, 2023, from 2:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.

Precious memories will be forever cherish by: his wife, Brenda Levett of Montgomery, AL; two children, Demarcus Pennington of Huntsville, AL and Dominique (Alicia) Pennington of Opelika, AL; four stepchildren, Santino Burgess of Montgomery, AL, Tito (Shatia) Burgess, Curtis Burgess both of Opelika, AL and Alvin (Keisha) Tinsley of Macon, GA; twenty-seven grandchildren; one sister, Elizabeth Levett of Tuskegee, AL; three brothers, Dewayne LaGrand of Hurtsboro, AL, Joe Nathan Levett, Jr. and Anthony Levett both of Tuskegee, AL; three sisters-in-law, Jennifer Harris of Bishopville, SC, Karen (Douglas) Keaton-Chase of Baconton, GA and LuShanda Peters of Gulf Port, MS; a devoted brother-in-law, Willie Parker of Bishopville, SC; one brother-in-law, Harry Adams of Opelika, AL; a host of other nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
