Hearing from a friend yesterday that Stacy had passed away truly was heartbreaking. I had the pleasure of working with Stacy during the time she was at Stroehmann Bakeries in Harrisburg. Stacy was ALWAYS so upbeat and bubbly and truly had a heart of gold. No matter what was going on Stacy always had time to stop and listen if you had something that was bothering you. Unfortunately when cooperate decided to make changes at the bakery and because of seniority Stacy lost her job at the bakery and her and I lost contact with one another. I myself when they finally closed the Harrisburg facility I transferred to their Carlisle bakery and finally last year had the opportunity to retire after 30 years with the company. My thoughts and prayers go out to her family during this difficult time. To her family.....always remember that Stacy's star will ALWAYS shine bright in the evening sky! Bill Funk

I had the pleasure of working with Stacey for almost 4 years. She made me smile, she made me laugh but most importantly she always kept me grounded in what really mattered, the residents and coworkers of our community. My sympathy and prayers go out to Stacey's family and friends. She was an amazing woman. May she rest in peace and bask in the warmth she shared with those of us who had the honor of knowing her.
