Mary Emma Stukes Montgomery,102, widow of Harry Montgomery, died Sunday, August 6, 2023 at her residence 402 Reid St, Thomasville, NC. She was born March 2, 1921 in Summerton, SC. A daughter of the late Abbie and Laura Stukes.

Public viewing will be held from 2:00 PM til 6:00 PM Friday, August 11, 2023 at Hayes F. Samuels Sr. Memorial Chapel, 114 N. Church St., Manning, SC.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Saturday, August 12, 2023 at Hayes F. Samuels, Sr. Memorial Chapel, 114 North Church St. Manning, SC. Burial will follow in Church Of God By Faith, 1071 Loss Brook Rd., Davis Station, SC.

As a child we attended almost all church services. Once I told Grams, I'm not feeling well (wanting to stay home). She said, "you not feeling good, well get up and get dress for church so that God can heal your stomach", 🤦🏽‍♀️ No matter what excuse we came up with God was the resolution. I am happy for that life lesson. I will miss you Grandma Mary💕Gail RIH
