Service will be held 1:00 P.M. Tuesday, August 01, 2023, at Richardson Funeral Home. It is located at 1447 Swift Street, Perry, Georgia 31069. He is survived by his children, Anita Lynn and Christopher Lee; siblings, Katharine Davis, Luella SVeay (Talmadge), Estella Jones (Danny) and Annie Salem (Wallace); grandchild, Derrion Johnson; a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Viewing hours will be from 4:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. on Monday, July 31, 2023.

Officer Woodrow Telfair was an excellent mentor and faithful friend who shared his knowledge and love for working with students to younger officers who joined the Bibb County School District Campus Police Department after him.
