Obituary For Cora Green Ollison

Cora Green Ollison, 88, of New Bern passed Saturday, July 29, 2023 at ECU Health Medical Center, Greenville, NC.

Viewing Thursday, 10:00 AM to 10:50 AM at the Tabernacle ONLY.

Her funeral service is 11:00 AM, Thursday, August 3, 2023 at The New Bern Eastern Missionary Baptist Association Headquarters 885 Highway 306 N Grantsboro.

She is survived by her three living children Del Gibbs, Fayetteville, NC, Romalus “Bud” Ollison (Yolette), Delaware and Ellen Deborah Hukins, Bridegton, NC. Cora raised three children of the heart Juanita “Pat” Jones, New Bern, NC, Richard “Rick” Byrd (Yolanda) (Maryland) and Steven Byrd and a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Dell, Deborah and the Entire Ollison Family: My fondest memory and a very "Special" one for me of Cora was when Aunt Ruth Green Smith came to visit home which was one of her last visits (years ago) to North Carolina and wanted to see me, Cora made very sure of that and I got to see my Aunt Ruth.
