MRS. GLENDA JOYCE “GINGA” HAWKINS WINSTON - Age 67, of Calhoun, Georgia passed away Sunday, July 23, 2023. She was born on August 17, 1955 to the late Henry Hawkins, Sr. and Joyce Carolyn Curtis Hawkins. She was a member of Tabernacle Baptist Church of Sonoraville, Georgia and was a graduate of Calhoun High School Class of 1973.

Survivors are her husband, Willis Winston, her loving family, children, Demond Hawkins, Marisha (Edwin) Winston - Higginbotham; four brothers, Norris (Lucy) Curtis, Henry (Gloria) Hawkins, Jr., Cletus Hawkins, Steve Turner; sister, Belinda (Brian) Scott; grandchildren, Malysha Winston, Emaree Winston, Envy Winston, and Ciera Bolt; aunts, Annette (Willie) Williams, Brenda Harris, Sarah Curtis; uncles, Eugene (Joyce) Curtis, Marvin (Lori) Curtis, Hiram (Linda)) Hawkins; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives; special godchildren, Shanta McDaniel, Bralin Barton, and Jaylynn Harris, and many other special loving friends.

Homegoing Service will be held on Saturday, July 29, 2023 at 1:00 P. M. at Trinity Baptist Church, 1170 Rome Road, S. W., Calhoun, Georgia 30701 with Pastor Zachary Washington and other Ministers officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday from 6:00 – 8:00 P. M.
