Obituary For Malik White

OPELOUSAS - Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 22, 2023 at Community Chapel Church of God In Christ in Opelousas, LA for Mr. Malik White, 21, who entered eternal rest on Sunday, July 16, 2023 in Opelousas, LA. Interment will be Bellevue Memorial Park in the Bellevue Community, LA.

Apostle Pastor Norma J. Hollier will be officiating the funeral service.

Mr. White’s memories are being cherished by: his mother, Jelly Bocard of Opelousas, LA and his father, Anthony (Shay) White, Sr. of Lake Charles, LA; three brothers, Anthony (Kianna) White, Jr. of Lake Charles, LA, Desmond White and Anthony (Marayah) Griffin, both of Opelousas, LA; one sister, Cherelle Hicks of Lafayette, LA; paternal grandparents, Murphy (Jackie) Guillory and Sharon A. Thomas; seven uncles, Andrus Bocard, Joseph (Shanice) Thomas, Cody (Charisse) Guillory, Josh (Tamarra) Guillory, Matthew Guillory, Brian Richard and Randy Randell; one aunt, Daisy Bocard; one niece and five nephews; special mothers, Apostle Norma J. Hollier and Grandmother, Joella Leblanc; Nanny Matanda Hayes and Nanny Maxine Warren; and a host of relatives and friends.

He is preceded in death by: his maternal grandparents, Willie and Eldoria Bocard; paternal great grandparents, Antoine White, II and Verlie Mae C. White; maternal great grandparents, McKinley and Emma Lafleur Tezeno; an uncle, Willie Bocard; an aunt, Flora Bocard; and a cousin, Brittany Bocard.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 22, 2023 from 7:30 a.m. to 9:45 a.m. at Community Chapel Church of God In Christ.
