Mr. Carl Timothy Burton, age 98, joined his Heavenly Father peacefully on July 20, 2023 at Hospice of Laurens County.

He is survived by two step-daughters: Mary Going of Oakland CA and Laura Going Tischler of Virginia;two grandchildren, dedicated caregiver Jose’ Barksdale and a host of other loving relatives and friends.

Mr. Carl T. Burton’s graveside services was held on Friday July 28, 2023 - St. James Lutheran Church Cemetery in Newberry, SC.
