Funeral service for Cordell Samuel, 36, of Phenix City, AL, will be at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, July 22, 2023, at Harris Funeral Home Chapel, Pastor Jamal Oliver will officiate.

Mr. Samuel, who passed away Tuesday, July 18, 2023, at his residence in Phenix City, AL, was born October 19, 1986 in Lee County, Alabama.

Public viewing will be Friday, July 21, 2023 from 4:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.

Cordell graduated from Beauregard High School Class of 2006. He was employed as a billing clerk at Rivertown Psychiatry in Columbus, Georgia. In his spare time, he enjoyed traveling, dancing and was known for his outgoing and outspoken personality.

He leaves to cherish his precious memory: father, Kenneth (Jessica) Samuel of Opelika, AL; one sister, Kristian Samuel of Atlanta, GA; one brother, Kandace Samuel of Dothan, AL; two aunts, Peggy Hutchinson of Opelika, AL and Sarah Pogue of Pelham, AL; three uncles, Marcus Samuel of West Palm Beach, FL, Willie Pogue and Lendell Love both of Opelika, AL; one step-brother, Jesse Kenneth Seroyer of Riverdale, GA; two step-sisters, Cori Baldwin and Casie Baldwin both of Mobile, AL; step-grandparents, Jesse and Novelette Seroyer of Opelika, AL and Judy Kemp Rackett; three devoted friends, Gaberille Wright, Eboni Morris both of Opelika, AL and Francheska St. Julien of Dallas, GA; a host of other relatives and friends.
