Obituary For Darrell G. Milson, Sr.

CROWLEY – Funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 15, 2023 at St. Theresa Catholic Church in Crowley, LA for Mr. Darrell Glenn Milson, Sr., 69, who entered eternal rest on Sunday, July 2, 2023 in Crowley, LA. Interment will be in South Crowley Cemetery in Crowley, LA.

Fr. Mark will be officiating the funeral mass.

Mr. Milson’s memories are being cherished by: his wife, Aletta Nelson Milson of Crowley, LA; his step mother, Linda Milson; two sons, Terrell (Delana) Milson of Crowley, LA and Darrell Glenn (Tania) Milson, Jr. of Houston, TX; one daughter, Tiffany Jackson (Norman) of New Orleans, LA; two brothers, Stanford (Nona Guidry) Milson of Crowley, LA and Tyrone (Mary) Henry of Beaumont, TX; five sisters, Gailya Milson of Rayne, LA, Donna Milson, Michelle Pitre (Martin), Stephanie Goodwin (Milton) and Bridgette Martin, all of Crowley, LA; three step sisters, Terrie Lynn Butler (Kevin) of Lafayette, LA, Bridgette Gibson (David) and Jennifer Pete (Carlton) of Crowley, LA; fifteen grandchildren; fifteen great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Mr. Milson is preceded in death by: his parents, Mose Milson, Jr. and Maudry Normand Martin; step father, Earl Martin, Jr.; paternal grandparents, Mose Milson, Sr. and Clara Briggs Milson; maternal grandparents, Murrell Normand, Sr. and Essie Mae Bias Normand; father-in-law, Fred Gums, mother-in-law, Beatrice Nelson; Godfather, Felton Normand and Godmother, Flora Walker.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 15, 2023 from 8:00 a.m. to 9:45 a.m. at St. Theresa Catholic Church.
