He later decided that he wanted to change occupation and try his hands at picking fruit, so he traveled to New York with a group just to do that. He thought that this would be a great opportunity to leave home and travel. He experienced riding on the bus in the snow. Although, it was short lived; upon returning he decided that he wanted to do yardwork. Mr. Reese did yardwork until his physical limitations did not allow him to continue. The need for assistant living support; he lived at Ruby’s Residential care of Tampa. While there he made gifts for all his sisters and others including the residence at the facility. He remained there until his health began to decline. Thereafter, he went to reside with his sister, Yvonne for continuing care. Richard was a quiet outgoing man, who loved to have fun and dress.
