Mr. Christopher “Horace” Bethea (47) passed on Monday, July 10, 2023, at his residence in Dillon, SC.
The family is receiving friends at 1755 Kemper Church Road, Nichols, SC 29581.
Viewing of Mr. Christopher “Horace" Bethea will be Saturday, July 15, 2023, from 1:00PM-5:00PM at Bartell Funeral Home. (Newtown)
Funeral Service for Mr. Christopher “Horace” Bethea will be Sunday, July 16, 2023, at Mircale Temple Family Fellowship at 3:00PM.
Burial will follow at Union Church Cemetery.

Christopher Lee aka “Horace” Bethea was born in Lake View, South Carolina on August 16, 1976 to Fannie Bethea and Henry Campbell.
Christopher “Horace” to all, grew up in Lake View where he spent most of his time with family and friends. Christopher was a great lover of people and in return people loved him. He shared a special relationship with everyone who he encountered. He never met a stranger.
On Monday, July 10, 2023, the Lord smiled upon one of his angels and rescued Christopher from his pain and suffering.
Christopher was preceded in death by his parents: Fannie Bethea, Henry Campbell; sister: Brenda Bethea and Hendrick Brunson.
Loved ones who will cherish his precious memories forever are his sisters: Princess Whittington of Nichols, SC and Tina (Tim) Rogers of Fairmount, NC, Rosalind M. Brunson of Raleigh, NC; Henrietta Brunson of Raleigh, NC, Christy Pearline Brunson, of Saint Cloud, FL, Regina Legette of Columbia, SC, Katina Bennett, Tarbis Roberson, Andrea Bethea all of Lumberton, NC, Barabas Betha of Lake View, SC; a host of aunts and uncles; brother: Corey Green, of Nichols, SC and Latoria Green of Myrtle Beach, SC also leaves behind numerous nephews and nieces, great nephews and great nieces. Christopher will be missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
