Obituary For Da'Lajiah Lazaro

BRISTOL - Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 24, 2023 at Sunrise Baptist Church in Bristol, LA for Ms. Da’Lajiah Lazaro, affectionately known by her family and friends as “Da-lay-lay”, 18, who entered eternal rest on Saturday, June 10, 2023 in Palmetto, LA. Interment will be in the church cemetery.

Pastor Rubin Leonard will be officiating the funeral service.

Ms. Lazaro’s memories are being cherished by: her father, Dwayne Lazaro and her mother, Clarissa Wheeler, both of Church Point, LA; her daughter, Alajia La’Dae of Church Point, LA; paternal grandparents, Clarence Citizen and Mary Lazaro; maternal grandparents, Russell (Marie) Woods, Sr. and Leola Lewis (Darrell); one brother, Dwayne (Casey) Lazaro, Jr. of Church Point, LA; two sisters, Marshay Sias and Za’Kiyah Wheeler, both of Church Point, LA; her companion, Di’Edrick Pitre; Godparents, Clarence Lazaro, Veronica Lazaro and Latanya Lazaro; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

She is preceded in death by: four great grandmothers; four great grandfathers; five aunts; seven uncles; and two cousins.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 24, 2023 from 8:30 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. at Sunrise Baptist Church.
