Shawn D. Moore “aka” Moses was born on December 5, 1984 in New York City to Allison Miller and the late Clarence J. Briggs. He departed this life on June 2, 2023.

Shawn was a loving father, uncle, and brother. He attended R.S. Central High School. He loved to play football. Shawn loved to cook and his favorite color was blue. He was employed by Trelleborg Coated Systems. He loved his two sons.

He was preceded in death by his father, Clarence J. Briggs Jr.

Shawn leaves to cherish his memories; two sons, Shawn Moore Jr. and Tai-Shawn Moore, his mother, Allison Miller (James), five sisters, Brittany, Katlynn, Leslie (Tyler), Ivy, Shakoya, three brothers, Onray (Kim), Chad (Charlene), Desmond (Melissa), one aunt, Jennifer Moore, four uncles, Christopher Moore, Casey Briggs (Tammy), Galen Briggs (Natana), Terrance Briggs, best friends, Dustin Daisley, Stephon Logan (cousin), father figure, Christopher Hodge (Dawnette), nephew, Rahzir K. Moore, special friend, Staley Gibbs.
