Obituary For Mr. Angelo Dewayne Hearns

Angelo Dewayne Hearns received the gift of life on February 25, 1977, in Donalsonville, Georgia, to Veola Ephriam Hearns and the late Ira Hearns, Sr.

He was educated in the public schools of Jackson County where he graduated from Marianna High School. He furthered his education, obtaining a Bachelor of Science degree. He was presently employed as a truck driver.

Angelo leaves treasured memories with his mother, Veola Hearns of Marianna, Florida; one son, Gabriel Hearns, and his mother, Donna Attman, of Jacksonville, Florida; three brothers, Ira Hearns, Jr., of Clayton, North Carolina, and Frank Ephriam and George Ephriam, both of Panama City, Florida; five sisters, Monica Rich, Antoinette Jones, Sandra Jones, and Renee Peterson (Jerome), all of Marianna, Florida, and Angela Martin of Panama City, Florida; two bonus brothers, Shannon Gibson and Torri Hill; three bonus sisters, Patricia Okordudu (Yemmi) of East Orange, New Jersey, and Paula Figgers (Phillip) and LaShenna Jones, both of Marianna, Florida; two uncles, George Caldwell, Jr., (Lynn) of Bowling Green, Virginia, and Joe Caldwell (Robin) of Powder Springs, Georgia; two aunts, Gwen Garvin and Ruby McKay, both of Marianna, Florida; special friend, Cheyanne O’Neal; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 17, 2023, at 11: 00 am at the New Galilee Missionary Baptist Church located at 2155 Highway 73 South in Marianna, FL with Rev. Tony Hall and Rev. Stephen Andrews officiating. Interment will follow in the family plot of Gainer Cemetery in Marianna, FL with the caring staff of Peoples Funeral Home directing. The body will lie in state at the church Saturday from 10:00 am until funeral time at 11:00 a.m.

Public viewing will he held on Friday, June 16, 2023, at Peoples funeral Home chapel from 3:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m.
