Mrs. Robbie Lee Byers of Ashville, AL. passed away on May 31, 2023. She is survived by her family. We ask that you keep this family in your hearts and prayers.
Ms. Robbie Byers was born on December 20, 1939 to Mr. William Nelson and Willie Bee Turner. She was born in St. Clair County and attended Ashville School System. She loved to cook, sew and she also loved fishing. She loved to sing spiritual songs and worked as a part time janitor at Ashville Savings Bank. She was also known for making her cakes during the holidays for the community and different workplaces.
She was preceded in death by her husband Edward Byers, Mother Willie Bee Thompson, Grand Daughter Courtney Byers, Brothers Leon and Edward Turner and Brother-in-laws Jerry Bothwell, Robert Williams and Lee Brown. Mother-In-Law Beatrice Brown and two sisters in laws Margie Byers and Lillian Raddin.
She leaves to cherish her precious memories: her daughters Valerie (Leroy) Bozeman of Ashville, AL., Edna Byers of Odenville, AL., Angela Wilson of Rainbow City, AL, Twyla (Richard) Allen of Ashville, AL. and son Gary (Gwen) Byers of Ashville, AL. Sisters Loretta Lucas of Akron, Ohio. In-laws Eloise Williams of Ashville,AL., Arthetta Brown of Gadsden, AL. In-laws Carrie Tolbert of Georgia, Debbie Bothwell of Flint, MI., and Robert (Linda) Brown of Oklahoma. She also leaves her memories to nine Grandchildren, ten Great-Grandchildren, and one Great-Great-Grandchild.
Public Viewing will be 4P.M. - 6P.M. Sunday, June 4, 2023 at the West Gadsden Funeral Home (Betty D. Robinson) Chapel
Funeral Service will be 1 P.M. Monday, June 5, 2023 at Greater Grace Church, Ashville.
