It was my privilege to have met and worked with several members of the Evans/Waters/James families. At every venture my contacts were and are memorable. Kenneth Waters was a delightful gift of friendship to everyone who had the privilege of being associated with him. He brought love and light to every occasion, whether work or play. Kenneth exuded the best of what young men could become. He was the role model for every mother's son. Energetic, Smart, intelligent and helpful were his attributes. The sun surely blinked when he passed away. Charles Varner, Jr., former co-worker and Family friend

Ken was one of the most proficient professional I knew, he was an asset to Alabama State University and to the Non-instructional Staff Council where he served more people than you will ever know. I've known Ken for over 30 years and I can say that he loved his family and he loved ASU. He will be missed, but not forgotten. My thoughts and prayers are with his family. May God continues to keep the Waters/ James family in His loving care. Kenneth know as "Kenny Man", was a gentle giant in his own way. A very caring and loving Father/Nephew. He was well respected by all who knew him. If you needed something done, we just asked Kenn, and if he couldn't do it, he always knew someone who could. Kenn was a part the illustrious "INTRUDER CREW". Kenny man will truly be missed by us all. We Love ❤️ you dearly. Uncle Donald and Aunt Val
