Mr. Brooks Mitchell, 97, entered into rest, Thursday, May 25, 2023, in Doctors Hospital.

Brooks legacy will be cherished by his children, Diane (Parren) Porter, Paul Mitchell, and Juanita Mitchell; siblings, Elizabeth Weaver and Willie V. Mitchell (Tisch), Rosa Moore; devoted friend, Odessa Jackson; a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and many close friends.

A celebration of life will be 2:00 PM, Saturday, June 3, 2023, at First Baptist Church of Keysville, INC. (3948 Deans Bridge Road, Hephzibah, Georgia). Interment will follow in Hillcrest Memorial Park. Public viewing and visitation, 4 PM to 6 PM, Friday, June 2, 2023, at Kinsey & Walton Funeral Home, 3618 Peach Orchard Road, Augusta, GA.
