Travis Rivers, 58 years of age, passed away on May 29, 2023.

Travis Rivers was born March 4, 1965 to the late Ms. Florine Rivers. Travis was lovingly raised by his grandparents Bart and Annie Mapp in Union Point, Ga. Travis graduated from Greene - Taliaferro Comprehensive High School with the class of 1984. He was baptized at an early age at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church, Union Point, Ga.

Travis dedicated over 30 years of service working with Joel McRay at Greensboro Florist. He served diligently as a bus driver for the Greene County School System for 15 years, where he was well respected by his fellow co-workers. Very much loved and appreciated by his little ones, whom he safely drove to school each day. Travis was also the owner and operator of a successful Upholstery Business: Rivers’ Upholstery in Greensboro, Ga. Travis served and met many people in his many years of working in the Retail and Business Industry.

Travis loved helping others, restoring old cars, upholstering antique furniture and spending time with family.

Travis was preceded in death by his Mother Florine Rivers and his grandparents Bart and Annie Mapp.

Travis is survived by his loving wife Cynthia, his son Tavoris, his daughter Tylar and his Grandson Quavon Epps Jr., Brothers: Michael Mapp Sr. (Mindy), Earl Rivers (Vickie), M. Andre’ Rivers (Mary). Nieces: Tiffany Hill, T.C. Hill. Nephews: Michael Mapp Jr., Lantrez Rivers, Marvin Rivers Jr. In-laws Willie and Bernice Terrell, Charles Hall, Sr. (Tamala), Willie Terrell, Jr.,Travis Terrell (Wyqualia) and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives.

Rest in Peace Travis, you will be greatly

missed by all who knew and loved you.
