“The Last Show”

Jarquez De’Russell Thomas was born on October 23, 2000, to the late Sandra Denise Thomas and Tyree Lyons. Jarquez was affectionately known as “JD” until his untimely departure on May 26, 2023.

He attended Fuquay Varina High School and worked briefly at Abbey Road Tavern in Fuquay-Varina, NC. JD was so well-mannered and loved by all. His infectious smile and personality were contagious and genuine. His love for music was one of his greatest treasures. He was an outstanding rapper and was well on his way to greatness. His stage name, “King Beli” has been seen all over social media platforms, many live stages, and on BET Music.

JD leaves to cherish his memory, one beautiful daughter Zuri Amor Denise Thomas (and her mother Carneesha), his loving grandmother, Gladys Holland, devoted aunt Jamalla (Ronnie), paternal grandmother Maria Lyons, several siblings: Nitisha Harris, Correy Elliott, Courtney Elliott, Essence Sullins, and Takeisha Pemberton, biological maternal grandmother Patricia Thomas and family, and a host of aunts, uncles, other relatives, and friends.

Visitation: 11:00 am - 12:00 pm Saturday, June 3, 2023, at St. Augusta Missionary Baptist Church in Fuquay-Varina, NC 27526.

Funeral will be held at 12:00 pm Saturday, June 3, 2023, at St. Augusta Missionary Baptist Church, 605 Bridge Street in Fuquay-Varina, NC 27526.

Burial: Wake Chapel Church Cemetery in Fuquay-Varina, NC 27526.
