Obituary For Johnathan Bradley II

Johnathan (Johnny) Bradley II. - Age 15 years old, was born on July 29, 2007, in Knoxville, TN to Jonathan and April Bradley. Johnny attended Greater Mount Moriah Missionary Baptist Church as a kid. Johnny attended South Doyle High School and was set to start his junior year 2023 this fall. Johnny departed on May 25th, 2023 @ Leconte Medical Center Hospital in Sevierville, TN. Johnny leaves to mourn his father Jonathan, mother April; siblings, Devonte Thomas, Tradasha Thomas, Ariona Thomas, Kobrianna North, RJ Houston, and Rondell North; a host of other families, relatives, and friends too numerous to mention.


The family will receive friends on Saturday, June 10, 2023 from 12:00-1:00 p.m. with the Celebration of Life Service to begin at 1:00 p.m. at the Unity Mortuary Chapel with Bishop Kevin Perry officiating.

The final resting place will be held at the Mt. Olive Cemetery immediately following the service. A dove release will conclude in his honor.


Johnny will lie in state on Friday June 9, 2023 at the Unity Mortuary Chapel from 12-5 p.m. Per request of the family, please do not take any photos.

It broke my heart to hear that we had lost Johnny. He was one of my students. Tears were shed, not by me alone, at SDHS, as many were fond of him. He could be a handful sometimes, like many kids :), but he had great potential and he made me smile and laugh a lot! He wrote me the most beautiful note one day last year, so I know he knew that I cared about him. His beautiful eyes and matching smile will be greatly missed by many! RIP Johnny, RIP. One of the BEST kids I knew. He ALWAYS had a smile on his face and could always make u smile. He has known my son since forever they are like Brothers! You will forever be in our hearts and forever on our minds. Fly high LLJB REMEMBER ITS NEVER GOOD BYE. ILL SEE YOU AGAIN

My daughter went to school with Johnny. Knew him since kindergarten. This is just unbelievable and we will keep the family in our prayers
