Obituary For Greyson Guidry

PLAISANCE – Funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, May 26, 2023 at St. Mark Baptist Church in Plaisance, LA for Baby Greyson Kole Guidry, 1 yr. old, who entered eternal rest on Tuesday, May 16, 2023 at Children’s Hospital in New Orleans, LA. Interment will be in Garden of Memory Cemetery in Opelousas, LA.

Rev. Jason Rubin, Pastor of St. Mark Baptist Church, will be officiating the funeral service.

Greyson’s memories are being cherished by: his father, Greg Vidito and his mother, Ashley Guidry, both of Opelousas, LA; paternal grandparents, Felicia Glover and Peter Thomas of Opelousas, LA; maternal grandparents, Kadera Hicks, Sr. and Danielle Guidry Hicks, both of Opelousas, LA; paternal great grandmother, Beulah Richard of Opelousas, LA; seven brothers and sisters; maternal uncle, Kadera (McKenzie) Hicks, Jr.; paternal aunt, Shaquita Vidito; maternal aunts, Constance Price (Terrance), Raylene Guidry-Thomas (Seth) and Shaquandera Hicks; God Parents, Cynthia Batiste, Raylene Guidry-Thomas and Tiheshaca Jones; Co-Grandparents, Pastor Jason and Sandra Rubin; and a host of cousins and friends.

Greyson is preceded in death by: his maternal great grandparents, Barbara Guidry and Joyce Hicks; paternal great grandfather, Robert Vidito; great aunt, Keisha Guidry; and great cousins, Kimberly Guidry and Christopher Guidry.

Visitation will be held on Friday, May 26, 2023 from 1:00 p.m. to 2:45 p.m. at St. Mark Baptist Church.

My baby. Memaw misses you more than you will ever know. It doesn't seem real grey-grey. I miss your silly laugh and the sweet eyes you would give.
