Mrs. Angelia Denise Williams, 61, of Phenix City, AL passed Tuesday, May 23, 2023 in Columbus, GA.
Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. EST, Tuesday, May 30, 2023 at Pine Hill Baptist Church, Phenix City, AL with Pastor J.C. Fryer, officiating. Burial to follow in Lakeview Memory Gardens, Phenix City, AL. Visitation is Monday, May 29, 2023 from 2-4 p.m. EST.
Mrs. Angelia Denise Williams was born September 4, 1961 in Phenix City, AL to Mamie Lou Williams and Thomas Brown.
At a young age she accepted Christ at Pine Hill Baptist Church. She attended Central High School and graduated with the class of 1979. She was employed by Dennyβs Restaurant for 31 years and a part time employee for Walgreens.
Angelia is preceded in death by her grandparents, Effie Mae Williams and John Henry Williams, Sr.; two brothers, Marcus Williams, and Gregory Williams; nephew, Braylen Williams and brother-in-law, Anthony Copeland.
She leaves to cherish precious memories her mother, Mamie Lou Williams, Phenix City, AL; father, Thomas Brown; one son, Antrellis (Kristina) Williams, Columbus, GA; one granddaughter, Abigail Williams, Columbus, GA; six sisters, Felecia Copeland and Jennifer (Ronald) Guy both of Phenix City, AL, Patrice (David) Simmons, Charleston, SC, Valarie Stevens, Telessa Monroe and Teresa Brown all of Columbus, GA; eight brothers, Derrick (Tetrice) Williams, Thetiss (Kelli) Williams both of Phenix City, AL, Kelvin (Laray) Williams of Columbus, GA, Michael Williams, Bruce Williams and Paul Williams all of Phenix City, AL; Michael Brown and Thomas Brown, Jr. both of Columbus, GA; four uncles, Curtis Williams and Freddie Williams both of Phenix City, AL, Eddie Williams of Columbus, GA and Jessie (Bertha) Williams, Hammond, IN, one great aunt, Peggy Benton, Phenix City, AL; two great uncles, Arthur Epps, Phenix City, AL and Lavonn Epps of, Indiana; one god son, Robert Cox; one god daughter, Keshaunna Williams; her loving puppy named βPinkβ; best friend, Theresa Senior; two special cousins, Linda and Brenda Walton and a host of nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.
So sorry to the family, I didn't know Angelia too well but I would see her at Denny's she always friendly and sweet, I just heard about her passing today, I am saddened but I know she is with the good Lord.

Angelia knew me since I was a small child, working with my mother at Denny's. She was a kind woman and really helped my family when my mom got sick and passed away. I hope they are now relaxing together in peace. Kim Loupas
