Melvin Earl Hickman,64, of New Bern passed Thursday, May 11, 2023 at his residence.

Service is 11:00 AM, Friday, May 19, 2023 at Oscar’s Memorial Chapel. The interment will follow in the Hickman Family Cemetery, Havelock.

He is survived by his son, Michael Kelly (Palmira), New Bern; two brothers, Bruce Hickman and Ricky Hickman of Norwalk, CT; four sisters, Constance Moore, Ernul, NC, Christine Stith, Washington, DC, Jean Hickman, Jackie Hickman, Norwalk, CT; four grandchildren.
