Brenda L. Morton, of Richmond, died May 11, 2023. She was preceded in death by her mother, Marva Grier Morton; father, Raymond Morton and nephew, Darryl Burt II. Surviving are her brother, Darryl Burt (Felica); nephew, Raja Burt; aunt, Marie Morton Hart; a host of devoted cousins, other relatives and friends; one life long friend, Charles Owens, Jr. (Johnette); best friend, Regina Warren and devoted friend, Stephanie Coleman Watkins. Remains rest at Scott's Funeral Home, 115 E. Brookland Park Blvd. where viewing will be held from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. Friday, May 19, 2023 followed by the family receiving friends from 6 p.m. until 7 p.m. in Scott's Chapel, 116 E.
