Obituary For Mae Alice Tucker

Mrs. Mae Alice Tucker was born in Glascock County Georgia October 11, 1953 to the parentage of the Eva Mae Andrews and the late Robert M. Wilcher.

Alice made her transition on Sunday evening, May 7. 2023 at an Augusta Hospital. She joins her father, her loving husband: George G. " Jack" Tucker, III, two sons: Glen D. Tucker, Jackie Tobie, four brothers: Charlie Wilcher, Emory Wilcher, Julian Wilcher and James Wilcher.

Graveside services will be held on Friday, May 12, 2023 at 2:00 P.M. at Wrens Memorial Gardens, 1533 Highway 80, Wrens, GA.

Public viewing will be held Thursday, May 11, 2023 from 3:00 – 6:00 P.M. at Davis Funeral Home, 725 Beech Street, Louisville, GA

Alice was the light in a pathway of darkness for her family and the glue that held them together Her heart was larger than her body but she truly stood her ground. She loved gardening and always took time for her family. She was the bookkeeper for Tucker Trucking.

Her loving smile will be missed by her mother: Eva Mae Smith, Warthen, GA; her mother-in-law: Annie Pearl Harley, Philadelphia, PA; her children: Felice (Darrell) Jordan, Wrens, GA, Shadera (Richard) Bryant, Thomson, GA, Lynn Tucker, Lenor Tucker and Charroid Bryant, Wrens, GA, Glenn (Annette) Tobie, Millen, GA, Janice Tobie, Statesboro, GA; her grandchildren: Jerry Lee Jordan, Jr., Mashalia Raquel Jordan, Michael Fryson, Tamara Tobie, Glenn Tobie, Tyshira Tobie Mathis Kabre, Takiah Tobie, Tiara Tobie, Greg Tobie, Kendrick Tobie, Deondra Tobie and Kendrick Harris; great-grandchildren: Jakel, Jaylen, Jay, Jayden, Charlie, Carter, Audi, Karson, Ca'Mendreze, Makayla, Michael, Miguel, Justice, Malachi, Marylee, Maison, McKinzie, Chinara, Kennedi and Jeniyla; her siblings: Robert M. Wilcher, Wrens, GA, Earline (Edward) Braddy, Warthen, GA, Rosella Smith, Augusta, GA; her brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law: Alvin (Trinia) Harley, Philadelphia, PA, Darryl (Shymethia) Tucker, Gibson, GA, Larry Tucker, Louisville, GA, Clifford (Tiffany) Tucker, Wrens, GA, Reda Tucker, Sandersville, GA and Brenda (Freddie) Story, Maryland; her God children: Eddie McNair, Ricky Wheeler, Brad Jones and Betty Wheeler.
