Carla Denise Michael Lane, 40, of Jackson, MS was born June 23, 1982 to George Michael, Sr. and Elizabeth Thomas Genes. She passed April 27, 2023 at University of Mississippi Medical Center.

Visitation will be Friday, May 5, 2023 at Westhaven Funeral Home Chapel from 9:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m.

Funeral services will be Saturday, May 6, 2023 at 11:00 a.m., New Horizon Church International, 1770 Ellis Avenue, Jackson, MS 39204 with burial in Autumn Woods Cemetery, 4000 W. Northside Drive, Jackson, MS 39209
